Monidipa (Mimi) Mondal is a writer of the poetic and the fantastic. Her stories have appeared in PodCastle, Daily Science Fiction, WisCon Chronicles Vol. 9, and other publications. She is the recipient of the Octavia E. Butler Scholarship for the Clarion West Writing Workshop in 2015, and the Poetry with Prakriti Prize in 2010.
Professionally, she is trained as an editor, having worked with Penguin Books India between 2012 and 2013, and been a Commonwealth Scholar in Publishing Studies at the University of Stirling, Scotland between 2013 and 2015.
