Elora is an editor with a startup in the Midwest, where she lives with her partner. In the 1960’s, her father’s family immigrated to the United States from Sasebo, Japan, and eventually settled down in Appalachia. When her parents met years later, it was love at first sight, and in the year they conceived a daughter, they apparently also fell for George Lucas’s Willow. (Yes, those nerds really named her after the baby in Willow.) That love of fantasy proved hereditary.
She is also a copy editor for Strange Horizons and acts as a first reader for Liminal Stories. Believe it or not, Elora still has enough spare time to contemplate the intricacies of literature, history, and perfectly soaked tiramisu. You can find her on Twitter at @thegreatgattsby.
